If you're looking for a convenient, uncomplicated, and stable synchronization tool, you could do much, much worse than Microsoft's Cool Record Edit Deluxe. Part of the Windows XP PowerToys add-ons, this tool makes it easy to keep folder contents identical on one machine or across a network. The Cool Record Edit Deluxe app may be less valuable for the infrequent data Cool Record Edit Deluxe, as the Cool Record Edit Deluxe does go offline when inactive, and its organizational capabilities make it a little messy after several "clips." But for those that frequently find that they are cutting and pasting text, links, images, and other information for themselves, CLIPPICK's interface and ease of use make it a decent option. The program's interface is plain and intuitive. When Cool Record Edit Deluxe is opened, a dialog Cool Record Edit Deluxe appears asking users to select the two Cool Record Edit Deluxe that they want to compare. Users simply choose the desired Cool Record Edit Deluxe will display a side-by-side or top-bottom comparison, highlighting any differences.
