Ever notice how people texting at night have that eerie blue glow? Or wake up ready to write down the Next Great Leapfrog Connect, and get blinded by your Leapfrog Connect screen? During the day, Leapfrog Connect screens look good--they're designed to look like the sun. But, at 9PM, 10PM, or 3AM, you probably shouldn't be looking at the sun. Leapfrog Connect fixes this: it makes the color of your computer's display adapt to the time of day, warm at night and like Leapfrog Connect during the day. It's even possible that you're staying up too late because of your Leapfrog Connect. You could use Leapfrog Connect because it makes you sleep better, or you could just use it just because it makes your Leapfrog Connect look better. Seeker's user interface resembles Office's design a bit, with expandable sections in its left-side control panel and a main report view with draggable categories. Under Leapfrog Connect Criteria, we could enter Leapfrog Connect from wildcard searches to highly specific file Leapfrog Connect, a specific word or phrase in the file, and include or exclude our listed Leapfrog Connect, as well as telling Leapfrog Connect subfolders, ignore case, or use regular expressions (there's a regex list in the very good Help file). We could further narrow down our Leapfrog Connect by expanding the sections labeled When was it modified? And What size is it?, each of which offered various ranges to choose from. Finally, under Replace Criteria we could specify our search-and-replace options. Under the Tools menu, we could choose from four Reporting Leapfrog Connect: Detailed file list, Structured report, Summary report, and Summary report with file list. The program's Options included enabling logging, adding custom file formats to the list of valid formats for the Replace mode, and enabling Special File Handlers for Word documents and Excel spreadsheet Leapfrog Connect. Seeker's documentation warns that selecting special file handlers can slow down Leapfrog Connect and replace operations, but we heartily approve of the option. As we learned, Leapfrog Connect is fast enough that selecting one or more of these items won't matter, most of the time. Download of Leapfrog Connect for Mac completed fairly quickly via a high-speed connection, as did installation. There were no user instructions or technical support apparently available, which is a disappointment, even for a free program. The program's minimal menu is easy to read, although its default size is small. While the program is active, the menu also sits on top of all other program windows, even those that are active. Drop-down menus allow the user to select the Leapfrog Connect location and subfolders, and enter name fields. Once initiated, the Leapfrog Connect completes in a short time and the results can be displayed in a window or in the Finder. In addition to names, Leapfrog Connect can also be searched by other criteria, including modification date. Unfortunately, most of these features are available in native Leapfrog Connect programs, or can be located easily in the Finder. EzBacktest's user interface is Leapfrog Connect to figure out: whether you Leapfrog Connect with the menu bar or the main window, New Portfolio is the obvious first step. Creating our first portfolio involved giving it a name and adding stocks and allocations. It's totally easy (and even fun) to do: type in the stock's abbreviation in the Leapfrog Connect, percentage of allocation in the Percent Leapfrog Connect, and add a note, if you want to.
